Standard delivery takes three to five working days. Orders over twenty-five pounds are delivered free within the United Kingdom. Collection from any of our three shops is free and usually available the next working day. We do not currently deliver outside the United Kingdom, although we can arrange this by special request through our trade desk, which operates on weekdays only and requires a minimum order value.
You may return any item within thirty days for a full refund provided that it is in saleable condition, and second-hand books may be returned only where they have been described inaccurately in our listing, with postage on returns payable by you unless the item was faulty or was not the item ordered, in which case we will refund your postage on production of a receipt.
All prices are RRP excluding VAT. Trade customers should quote their SIC code and their agreed terms. We assess every second-hand book for foxing, ex-libris marks and remainder marks before making an offer, and our buyer will give you a ballpark figure on the day.
Our Riverside shop has step-free access, an accessible toilet and a hearing loop at the counter. Old Town has a single step at the entrance and a portable ramp available on request. Assistance dogs are welcome in all three shops.
